Kits make shopping -- and sewing -- so very easy. Here are all the materials you need for ONE Nicholas Owl pincushion, either tall or short. Don't forget to pick up a copy of Heather's Edgar Owl and Poe Pincushions sewing pattern.

• Poinsettia Red for main fabric (body & wings)
• Houndstooth Ginger fabric for Contrast A (face)
• Coat Check Mint fabric for Contrast B (chest & wings)
• Herringbone Cocoa fabric for feet
• Fusible, woven interfacing for body
• Nutmeg felt for beak
• Lily Pad felt for feathers
• Mustard Seed felt for narrow eyebrows and feathers
• Ginger Root felt for wide eyebrows
• Fairy Pool felt for eyelids
• Tangelo and Ginger Root felt for eyebrows
• Bubblegum and Vanilla felt for eyes
• Pink floss and button-colored floss for eyes
• Two 5/8" vintage buttons for eyes

regular thread and polyester stuffing
